World Association for Laser Therapy - The World Association for Laser Therapy boasts a multi-national membership that includes the worlds leading experts in all forms of treatment. WALT aims to provide an accessible platform to expand the body of knowledge through clinical & laboratory research, and encourage international co-operation and interaction for laser therapists of all disciplines.

European Medical Laser Association (EMLA) - The aim of the European Medical Laser Association is to promote education, research and more effective use of laser and light technologies in the different branches of medicine.

North American Association for Laser Therapy - The purpose of NAALT is to be a forum for laser therapy users in the North American regions (Mexico, USA and Canada). It is our intention to improve understanding of the photobiological mechanisms, basic laser physics, treatment parameters, techniques, regulatory issues and reimbursement.

Swedish Laser Medical Society - SLMS was founded in May 1989 and is a non-profit organization.  SLMS tries to stimulate interest in laser-medicine and in LLLT in particular, through meetings, lectures, contacts with media, researchers, and politicians.

Australian Medical Laser Association - The Australian Medical Laser Associations primary responsibility is to promote and facilitate the advancement of laser medicine, photobiomodulation, and allied sciences in Australia.

International Phototherapy Association (IPTA)

Laser Institute of America - The Laser Institute of America (LIA) is the international society for laser applications and safety. Our mission is to foster lasers, laser applications, and laser safety worldwide. Serving the industrial, medical, research and government communities for over 40 years, LIA offers technical information and networking opportunities to laser users from around the globe.

American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery - The ASMLS promotes excellence in patient care by advancing biomedical application of lasers and other related technologies worldwide.

Agence pour la Promotion du Laser Athermique en Cancerologie - Objectives : Development of basic and clinical research, and promotion of routine use of LLLT (low lever laser therapy, wavelength 632.8 nm) in the prevention and treatment of mucositis and dermatitis induced by anti-cancer treatment (chemotherapy and radiotherapy).
